A high-powered CEO puts her career and family on the line when she begins a torrid affair with her much-younger intern.

Romy Mathis, the CEO of a tech company in New York City, is dissatisfied with her sex life with her husband, Jacob, a theater director. One of the company's new interns, Samuel, propositions Romy during a private meeting; she objects, then gives in and kisses him. Initially ambivalent about the incident, the two later meet at a hotel room. Romy expresses concern that she may be taking advantage of Samuel due to their power difference, but Samuel explains to her that he is the one with the power, as he could get her fired "with one phone call." The two continue to meet up in multiple rendezvous in which Romy is the submissive partner and Samuel the dominant one.
