The plot follows one day in the life of Angela Raducani, a paid assistant in the production of a propaganda video in which behind the statements of real victims of accidents at work in a local factory is the real motivation of a multinational company to promote its new safety equipment.

Angela spends most of her 16-hour work day in her car, pushing her way through traffic jams, suppressing the frequent chauvinistic comments of other drivers with loud music, and her own lethargy with coffee. In one day, she visits and interviews a number of candidates in their homes for a promotional video she is working on, and the Austrian company that commissioned the film, led by marketing manager Doris Goethe, will decide which of the victims will receive a fee and the opportunity to tell their story on camera.
