The pianist Kyra Steckeweh and the filmmaker Tim van Beveren search for traces where Countess Dora Pejacevic (1885-1923) lived and worked. Their documentary is a journey through time to a half brilliant, half broken Europe.

As a member of a Slavonian noble family, she grew up in her parents' castle in Našice. This privileged background allowed her to develop her musical talent at an early age. But for her, music was not entertainment, but a real calling. She studied with private teachers in Dresden and Munich, where she participated in the cultural trends of her time. Her circle of acquaintances included figures such as Karl Kraus and Rainer Maria Rilke.
