Mads Mikkelsen plays Marcus, a military veteran who is called back home from the war after his wife Emma was killed and his daughter traumatized by a horrific train accident. In his grief, Markus meets Otto, a witness to a train accident and a statistical expert who soon becomes convinced that a bicycle gang is responsible for the accident through a complicated series of intentional events, which began with a stolen bicycle.

To avenge Emma's death, the two team up with Otto's friends, both hackers Lennart and Emmenthaler, who turn out to be quite incompetent in using logic and firepower. Their revenge plan soon begins to crack at the seams in completely unexpected ways. With a perfect blend of brutal violence, heartfelt tragedy, and bizarre humor, Jensen’s film will take its viewer on a fun journey that involves the likelihood, revenge, and inadvertent consequences of carefully crafted plans.
