The film follows Vatroslav Vranić, a young man who struggles with a series of life challenges. As a lifelong student of the Hungarian language and a delivery boy in a pizzeria, he faces unpaid wages and conflicts with the boss. His life takes an unexpected turn when, after his colleague ends up in the hospital because of his mistake, he decides to accept his friend's request and go to the island of Mala Glava.

On the island, which was once a military base of the Yugoslav army, is now planned for a pro-life youth camp, Vatroslav joins the tomato harvest on a large plantation. There he meets diverse and colorful characters, each with their own unique story. However, the island hides dark secrets that will drive Vatroslav to the edge. While struggling with unimaginable situations that threaten him, he must find a way to "save his life" and find refuge.
