The plot of the film is focused on two roommates who work together in the city hospital - the head nurse Prabha and the newly arrived sister Ana - and their colleague, the cook Parvaty.
Prabha is an experienced nurse who is started to be shot by the doctor from the hospital, although she already has a husband from an arranged marriage who lives in faraway Germany. Anu is in a romantic relationship with a Muslim, which she hides from her strict family. Parvaty, on the other hand, is about to be evicted from her own apartment.
