As part of the special edition of the show Posebni dodaci (HTV3), the Croatian Film Critics Association presented awards for the best domestic films from the past year, and among the winners were some of the titles that you could, or will soon see in our Kino Zona. In addition to the above-mentioned recognitions, professional recognitions for the best critic, the best young critic and the Golden Octavian Lifetime Achievement Award were given to veteran Veljko Bulajić this year.
Although slightly fewer titles were realized and reported last year than in previous years, twenty film critics reviewed and evaluated more than 150 films of all genres and durations and ultimately decided on the following winners:

Octavian for a feature film: The Closing Door (2019), dir. Lucija Mrzljak
Octavian for the best minority co-production: Father (2020), directed by Srdan Golubović
