After the sold-out screening of the film "Tusta", Kino Zona is preparing another film treat in the form of a screening of the film "The Load" this Friday as well.
Under the direction of Ognjen Glavonić, "The Load" is based on a true story that he covered in the forensic documentary "Depth Two". The film premiered in the program of the Cannes Film Festival - 15 days of the author in 2018, while the main actor Leon Lučev received the Heart of Sarajevo Award in 2018.
The plot of the film is set at the time of the NATO bombing of Serbia in 1999, when the government (Leon Lučev) works as a truck driver and has the task of transporting a mysterious cargo from Kosovo to Belgrade through an abandoned, unknown and war-ravaged area. When he finally gets the job done, he knows he has to go home and face the consequences of his actions.
We carry the "The Load" on Friday, November 29, at the already standard place of the Kino Zona in the Concert Hall of the Rector's Palace, starting at 8 p.m. You can buy tickets in the office of the Aliiance of Independent Culture Centre (across from the post office in Relja) every working day from 8 am to 2 pm, and at the screening point from 7.15 pm. The ticket price is 20 kuna.
