The boy Andreu finds the corpses of a man and his son in the woods. Authorities want to blame his father for the crimes, but Andreu tries to find the real killer.

The plot of the film is set in Catalonia, in the period after the civil war. We follow an eleven-year-old boy, Andreu, who discovers the bodies of an adult man and his son at the foot of a cliff. By coincidence, Andreu's father is blamed for their deaths. Fearing being found guilty, he flees. Andreu is sent to live with relatives, but he tries to find the real culprit.
