Basel Adra, a young Palestinian activist from Masafer Yatta, has been fighting since childhood against the Israeli occupation in which soldiers expel families and gradually destroy his community.

When Basel meets Yuval, an Israeli journalist, their common struggle begins, which will last more than half a decade and during which the two activists will become closer. But their complex relationship is haunted by extreme inequality: Basel lives under brutal military occupation, while Yuval is free.
