Greed and class discrimination threatens the newly formed symbiotic relationship between the wealthy Park family and the destitute Kim clan.

The Ki-taek family of four is close but completely unemployed, with a bleak future ahead. Ki-woo’s son is recommended by his friend, a student at a prestigious university, for a well-paid teaching job, and he hopes to have a regular income that way. With all the expectations of his family, Ki-woo goes to the family home for an interview. Arriving at the house of Mr. Park, the owner of a global IT company, Ki-woo meets his wife Yeon-kia, a beautiful young lady. But after this first meeting between the two families, an unstoppable series of accidents will follow.
